Anyone, really. You have to be 18 or older, have a valid driver’s license, Social Security number and pass a background check. What’s neat is you can adjust your times and locations to match your existing schedule or commute – so you earn extra money without really changing your daily routine.
When a delivery request matches your My Schedule, My Map and My Package Type criteria, you will receive a notification. You view the delivery request details, then it is up to you to choose to accept or ignore. Delivery requests expire after thirty minutes – so decide fast! Another Driver could always beat you to it.
The hours you work are totally up to you! The My Schedule feature allows Drivers to customize the time-frame they work, including up to two time periods each day (e.g., 7am to 9am and/or 5pm to 7pm).
No - in My Package Type, you can choose the type of deliveries you want to make (e.g., only envelopes and shopping bags or everything but restaurant takeout).
There are three ways to define your delivery area. Pick the one that works best for you.
1. Around a Single location: Pick a location (e.g., your home) and specify a radius (up to 25 miles). You control how far you are willing travel to do a job.

OR

2. Between two locations: Specify a service area between two locations (e.g., your office and your home). Our algorithm designs a reasonable area around the route between these two points as your service area.

OR

3. Roaming service area: Based on your real-time GPS location. It changes as you move from place to place throughout your day. You specify a radius so you control how far you are willing to travel to do a job.
point pickup requires a driver’s license number and type of car when gather your information. However, if you choose to ride a scooter or walk part of the delivery request route, that is up to you – just so long as the delivery gets done!
Always consult with your tax preparer for any tax questions. Your History page will tell you how much you’ve earned, along with the number of requests you’ve completed.
We knew you’d ask eventually! You will be paid for completed and processed delivery requests via direct deposit into your bank account approximately 48 hours after delivery is made. Always make sure your banking information is current.
Deliveries are priced according to distance, with surcharges for oversized packages. When you see an order request come through, the price displayed is the amount you will be paid for that delivery. Drivers make 80% of each completed delivery request and occasionally may receive tips directly from their customers. Feel free to check out our Delivery Provider Agreement for more info. You will get paid 1.5x for overweight or oversize packages.
Life happens sometimes – if something comes up, notify your customer immediately. Also send us an email at help@pointpickup.com AND give us a call at 866-886-PPUP(7787). Multiple cancellations or no-shows may result in a suspension or deactivation of your account.
Privacy and security are our top priorities. All banking data is stored with our payment processing company, which is PCI - (payment card industry) compliant for handling financial data, all other information is stored on Amazon Web Services encrypted servers. Bottom line, point pickup has built an industrial-strength system to protect our Drivers' - and our company’s - financial security and privacy.
